The woman is the ‘every-person,’ her head is tilted and not upright. This posture symbolizes the trials and tests in our lives that put us off our center. However, the ‘heavens,’ representing the Spirit and things of God, are being poured out on her head like an anointing during her time of suffering. The bright sunrise of her body is the hope that we have, through faith, that these times are not meaningless and petty but will bring us to a higher place and be redeemed.

“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.  And not only that, but we also glory in sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.  Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. “ Romans 5:1-5
