Domestic Objects

These watercolor renderings of kitchen dishware are inspired by vintage dishware. I am re-imagining these dishes, which are familiar to me, as “tiny billboards” to talk about double standards, consumerism, and how we talk about ourselves and others.

I paint using watercolor on paper or on aquabord (a modern fresco technique which has a clay substrate on a board).
