Refined
In the world, suffering, trauma, and adversity are seen as misfortune and usually end with deeper wounds. However, God is the Great Restorer and turns what is meant for evil into growth and something living.

We all have our ‘invisible chains’ of past failures, hurts, and scars. God sees the light of His destiny in us. That light is a refining fire that burns off any impurities and allows us to come to another level of understanding and functioning in His plan for us.
“See, I have refined you, though not as silver;
I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.” Isaiah 48:10
