The Presence of More

“The Presence of More” is about being in the world but not of the world.  We are purified, covered, and protected by the Blood of Christ, which covers his garment.   “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. “ (Revelation 7:14)

His hair is full of the wonders of the heavens, they cover his head, his mind.  Our spirits, minds, and bodies are changed by the love of Christ and we strive to have the mind of Christ. “for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.”(1 Corinthians 2:16)

The man is surrounded by the beauty of an earthly sunrise, a beginning.  The sky is full of stars that will disappear with the coming dawn.  The ‘heavens’ over his mind spatter into the sky.  This shows that the Lord knows the beginning from the end already and He is.

The darkness is coming, is here, and is growing, but the Light is here, is growing, and is coming. “I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With
justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.  He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations.” (Revelation 19:11-15)

Note: The calligraphic lines in the corner have several purposes.  First, they are part of the artwork’s composition.  Secondly, they are reminiscent of the ‘writing on the wall from the book of Daniel in the Bible.  Third, they represent the language of prayer that connects our spirit to the Holy Spirit.
