Award winning artist, Sara Drescher, combines surrealism and a modern take on traditional religious icons to create her artwork.

The newest evolution in Sara’s artwork explores the range of imagery and texture that combining watercolor, acrylic and latex paint, and colored pencil can create.  Themes of the heavenly and the mundane run through each piece and series.  Images of outer space and landscapes juxtaposed with figures are the foundation for her newest work. The infinite possibilities of space and the grounded familiarity of the landscapes inspire the direction of her artwork.

Although the artist provides her interpretation of each piece, you are encouraged to find your own story within the imagery.

Seeds and Light Project
