Glory in Hope
This piece is inspired by the scripture: “We boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” (Romans 5:2-5)
Butterflies are delicate creatures who transform in a most dramatic way. They symbolize hope, resurrection, and renewal. The color green is a color of life and hope that comes to us through faith and perseverance.
“You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised…. But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.” (Hebrews 10:36, 39)
The calligraphic lines at the top represent a prayer language.
