Every Morning
“Every Morning” is inspired by the passage: “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.’The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” Lamentations 3: 22-26

The morning sky shines behind the woman. She represents the beloved of God. She has purple hair denoting royalty and the golden fish represents Christ and the Holy Spirit. The small red banner represents the banner of love over us from the Lord (Song of Songs 2:4) and the calligraphic lines aren’t any particular language but represent a prayer language.
I have always loved the beginning of a new day full of new possibilities and waking up to the love of God. Each day we can wait on the Lord to show us the path He has set before us. The closer we become to Him, the easier it is to hear direction from Him. Starting the day with the Lord is great place to begin.
