“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.” James 4:10
The two faces represent the same person. The lower face represents coming into the presence of the Lord in reverence and with faith.
“Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself;
the Lord hears when I call to him.” Psalm 4:3
As our Father, God is pleased to lift us up to become the Sons He has destined us to be as we look to Him, the upper face.
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6
The abstract background represents the spiritual realm of the eternal. The colors surrounding the upper face represent the pleasure of the Lord in a reconciled relationship with His Sons.
“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:15-16
The calligraphic line represents prayer language.
